COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I (Maxine) have had a few surfers when I lived in Denver and NYC; we are hoping to surf someday but just happy to host in the meantime

Max's picks for movies - Criterion Collection anything, but there have been some questionable additions recently. Film noir, foreign, documentary, independent, black comedy. My favorites are Miike, Greenaway, Altman, B. Anderson, Solondz, Fellini, Morris, Bergman, Hitchcock, Wertmuller, Herzog, Jodorowski, Tykwer, Svankmajer, Gilliam, Almodovar)
I do not like: musicals, romantic comedies, neo-nazi or italian fascist, troma, action/adventure, commerical dramas, there are more I despise like Pasolini, Brass, Bertolucci, Spike Lee, Dogma45, Brilliant, Argento the daughter..
Music - 80's, classical, lounge, disco, hiphop, punkrock, indy rock, downtempo, experimental, electronica, folk, world music, jazz, funk.
Not a big reader. Like books with pictures and use for educational purposes like the dictionary, atlas, cook book, wine-anything (spectator, enthusiast, wine bible, wine atlas, sothbeys wine encyclopedia, anything by Jancis Robinson), etc...and post secret.
