55/SWF who has a bad case of "wanderlust" - I'm an outdoor girl, love to rock climb, backpack, camp, bike (road, mountain and motor), snow ski. I'll try anything once and if I like it, I'll do it again!!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

In May '06 I CouchSurfed in Italy for the whole month by myself and stayed with some wonderful people!! Hopefully, I will be able to return the favors!! I've had some amazing people stay on my couch also.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Staying on Welgevonden Game Reserve in South Africa and witnessing many animal sightings; participating in a rhino tagging/chipping; raising two baby Robins after their nest was destroyed by a storm; summitted the Grand Teton; lived in a truck for 8 months traveling US; attempted Mt. Rainier, Mt. Hood and Mt. Shukson; sunrises in the mountains; seeing my Grandnephew being born; breathing.....

Teach, Learn, Share

I've coached the Junior Rock Climbing team here in Greenville, SC, so I think I could teach rock climbing. I am also into mountain biking and would love to take ladies my own age who are wanting to try something new.

I want to learn the Italian language and am presently taking lessons.
