About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To do what makes me come alive, and to love the people around me.
ABOUT ME
Well, well, well, let's see. I recently got married and bought a travel trailer to live in with my lovely wife Julianna. I like playing music, most any stringed instrument but primarily the banjo right now. I love rock climbing, backpacking and being in the mountains; solitude, peace, beauty, these are my friends. I am attending UNCA for music composition and Julianna is a nurse.
PHILOSOPHY
Today is all I have. I cannot worry about tomorrow or yesterday. Right now, the moment I am in, the people that I am with, what I am doing; these are the most important things in the world for me. I receive as much love from my Creator as I can, then immediately turn around, today, and spread to the people I encounter.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I hosted a Scottish guy at my house during the last 3 days that I lived in Nashville TN, I actually live in Asheville NC now where I grew up.
I stayed with some very cool, eclectic and down to earth people all over Colorado during June 2010. They're extremely hospitable and showed me around all the cool spots.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Very Positive. I enjoy hosting when I can, and surfing is like having instant best friends for a weekend in a new town. They show you around, let you meet their friends, and sometimes feed you and take you rock climbing.
Interests
Rock Climbing, Composing weird modern classical music, Playing the banjo, backpacking, swing dancing (or really any kind of dancing), looking at the stars and spotting the constellations and planets, walks in my neighborhood, drinking a double-shot of decaf espresso no cream or sugar, reading good novels that have interesting characters and a classic plot (not like those books that are snapshots of dysfunctional characters that don't do anything but be slightly unsatisfied), taking pictures of beautiful things (you gotta frame it in a creative way with perspective to catch the light the right way)
