I want to see the world and learn what I can do to make it better. I want to fall asleep at night exhausted from each beautiful day.

ABOUT ME

I have grown up in the moist redwood duff and smooth pebble beaches of the San Mateo and Santa Cruz coast of California. Living in State Parks my whole life has taught me my place among the natural world and while my awareness of the world expands, I realize further my calling to give back to our beautiful planet. I love fly-fishing, hiking/backpacking, mushroom hunting, playing mandolin, ceramics, people, travel, bike riding, friendly wrestling and watching the world from the top of a tree with good friends. I love to meet people and make connections all over the world.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

For whatever reason I am yet to officially surf. My travels have shown me really how many unofficial couches, floors, bamboo mats and yurts are really open to the weary traveler. As our humble home is! We have had many surfers and so many good experiences and friends made all over the world.
