About Me
CURRENT MISSION
vision questing in daily life
ABOUT ME
I am very easy-going and open minded, though I have been described as intense, it is in a good way. I would say I'm spiritual and trying to become more in tune with, well, everything, though I am not a participant in any specific religion. I'm bad at the internet. I am a smoker, but trying to quit (aren't we all?). I don't really drink very often. I like meeting all different kinds of people! I sing, play guitar and banjo...I love the hell out of life!
PHILOSOPHY
The world is made of beauty and horror, simultaneously, and I am in love with both...even when it is unrequited.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I had an epic surf-stravaganza with a house full of epic guys in Athens, OH, and have surfed a few other places as well. One day, if I have a couch, I'd like to offer it.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
In Denver, CO, I met a great girl on here named april, and she put me and my partner up for a week after we hitched there from northeast ohio. She showed us some really cool stuff about the town, and the whole experience was pretty glorious.
Interests
Music, hiking, hitching (when I need to move faster), camping, sustainable living (as in trying to find out how to personally do that, and then doing it), lots of other things.

Music, Movies, and Books
Daniel Quinn's writings are great! other than that, non-fiction books, mostly. i don't watch very many movies. i like all kinds of music.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The sunset in the winter in Columbus, OH is horrible and beautiful. The colors are often very muted, and the backdrop is a bunch of ugly houses that are falling apart, trees with no leaves, homeless dudes looking for shit to recycle or sell or eat in alley dumpsters, concrete, what little grass there might have been dried and shriveled from road salt, a thick coating of garbage everywhere you look, and decay on every level, but...after yet another cold and gray day in Ohio (it wears on the soul by February, and there's at least another month before spring even thinks about getting out of bed), it will bring you, crying tears of pure joy and gratitude, to your knees.
Teach, Learn, Share
Whatever it is, Love it as hard as you can! Strive to walk in unconditional Love for everyone/everything. When you do this, the same Love is returned. Everyone has infinite Love to give, if they can open themselves. Other than that, esoteric knowledge is best conveyed in person, as the energies of less proximal communications are much more diffused, haha.
