I'm an easy going, friendly, Aussie chick who is currently traveling this beautiful country I call home.
I've been on the road since November 2015 and have so far travel through TAS, VIC, NSW, QLD, coastal and inland. I'm having an amazing time meeting people from all walks of life so far and have been fortunate enough to stay with family and friends along the way for most of my travels. I would prefer to stay at least 2 days with my host so that we can share our experiences but because I am so spontaneous with my travels it has led me to not doing a whole lot of couch surfing so far because I often find myself in places I haven't expected or planned to visit at all which has found me usually staying in hostels at last minute. However I would like to do more of it and am looking forward to meeting more wonderful people as I make my way around the rest of Aus 😊🚗

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love meeting new people, especially those from other cultural backgrounds than I.
I want to be able to experience a more genuine and interactive travel adventures that you often don't get the opportunity to experience when staying in Hotels. Visiting the little nooks and crannies that only the locals know and love and feeling like a visitor rather than just another tourist to a destination.
And to be honest.....sometimes staying with a dozen other cranky and smelly backpackers who are hung over as all sh@t just gets a bit too much 😋 You seriously can't beat staying in a home!
I have tried to give a good over view of who I am and what I like without turning it into a two part series or novel 😋 but I'm pretty open so feel free to ask more!

Interests

Travel, both domestic and overseas, meeting new people (especially from other cultural backgrounds), sharing travel tips/ adventures, volunteering, paying it forward, tattoo art, photography, challenging myself, and pushing boundaries. Learning from others, asking questions, not being another brainwashed zombie of society!
I absolutely love being out in nature and whilst I do find it difficult to be up early to catch more than a couple sunrises a month I make up for it in sunsets, beach bumming, bush walking and just truly appreciating my surroundings.
But my ultimate interests are human and animal welfare. Most of us are so very blessed in the western world, I think it's important for us to look inwards and see what it is that we can do to give back and make this world a happier place 🌏🙏💞

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to just about any kind of music but mostly enjoy going to see local bands play at bars, live gigs/ concerts and heading out to a club for a dance.

I'm a chick...I'd be lying if I said I haven't seen the Notebook and Dirty Dancing a million times, lol
Also love Shawshank Redemption, Silence of the Lambs and Face Off to name a few.
Books: I love motivational books and books that inspire me to achieve more in life that can allow me to grow as a being and to help others.
The Harry Potter books were pretty damn good too 😀

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Sky diving over Rotorua has to be up there with one of the best things I've done.
Not so amazing...the time I crashed whilst parasailing in Thailand 😳😕

Teach, Learn, Share

I really enjoy learning new things, or even just having a go to see if it's something I'd be interested in learning. I'm not sure what in particular I can teach others but I enjoy a good intellectual conversation and can certainly share my love of life and ways in which we can all contribute something to this world of ours😊

What I Can Share with Hosts

A love of life, travel stories, a great sense of humor, spontaneity, a genuine and caring nature, I can cook a mean vegan tofu stir fry, am happy to pull my weight and clean around the home and who knows, when I finally stop traveling, maybe one day you will have the opportunity to stay with me if you venture my way ;)
