ABOUT ME

I crave new experiences and am addicted to learning.

I always have a hard time with these sort of descriptions so I guess I'll start with some things that make me happy.

science, animals, penguin locomotion, the outdoors, adventure, mythology, mexico, travel, muay thai, trying to learn new instruments or making up my own, old photography, learning about almost anything, passionate people, odd hats, cooking, dive bars, karaoke, propaganda posters, pierre bernard's recliner of rage, cheesy music videos, board games, german accents, silly people with substance

I consider myself very open minded and try my best to keep a child-like enthusiasm about the world around me.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe in the underdog, good music, bad music, natural beauty, and constant self-improvement. I believe in company over ambiance and that even an idiot can teach you something you didn't know. I believe that it's never too late to do what you really want to do with your life, cheap beer and good scotch, that anything is better with Charles Barkley commentary, and that life shouldn't be taken too seriously.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm new to Couchsurfing but I've heard nothing but good things. I'll be traveling across the Southern United States all Summer but look forward to hosting in Santa Barbara, CA in the Fall!
