Just a guy and his fiance hoping to travel the world and meet new people.

My fiance Staci and I left our jobs in America last year to pursue a life of Teaching! I will be starting a certification program in America to become a science teacher this Fall. But before then, my fiance and I are travelling around Asia seeing what we can.

We love meeting new people, cooking, travelling, reading, etc. We are also very outdoorsy and love kayaking, snorkeling, rock climbing and hiking. We have both worked with wildlife and would love to meet people involved with the environment and conservation!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My fiance Staci and I are travelling around Asia for 3 months before moving back to America. We have been living in China for 1 year.

While we like hostels and hotels, we would like to meet local people living in the cities that we travel to. Because we are only in these cities for a short time, couch surfing is a great way to meet locals. We want to learn all about your culture, foods, language, etc.

We very much enjoy cooking and could help cook a meal. However, we can also be very self sufficient and keep quiet/clean. Whatever the host needs.

Staci and I love to read non-fiction books about current events, environmental conservation, or history. We also really like watching Netflix shows like "Narcos" :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Reed- I was once an environmental worker. I got to fly in a helicopter to the top of a remote mountain in the desert to survey for endangered plants and birds. It was amazing.

We both have backgrounds in Environmental Studies and would love to talk about local issues. But honestly, we both just love to learn and talk about many subjects!
