About Me
ABOUT ME
My friends respect me for my loyalty and for my apetite for adventure. Though my academic life as an engineering student is very important to me, I never miss a chance to break the routine.
Interests
As an Electrical Engineering university student, I spend much of my time during the school year involved in studies and unrelated engineering projects. I have worked on an autonomous robotic vehicle and as a member of my school's Engineers Without Borders chapter. I also enjoy catching concerts and going camping with friends throughout Texas, Louisiana, New Mexico, sometimes beyond. I also enjoy the occasional solitary bike ride.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
On a drive from Houston, Texas to San Francisco, California, I remember a moment on the Pacific coast. I stopped the car after miles of winding roads, and got out with my two fellow travelers. It was nighttime and this was the first time we realized that the ocean was roaring just over the edge of the cliff, and saw the innumerable stars, and felt the wind, and made ourselves vulnerable outside of the car. Talking quietly we all realized that we all shared the same excitement. It was an incredible trip and we saw a lot of things and met a lot of people, but that peaceful instant stands out for some reason.
Another fantastic moment came during an amazing opportunity to travel to the Galapagos Islands. To choose one instant from the whole trip, I can remember being told that Waved Albatrosses that were taking off wouldn't land again for 6 years. This are the sorts of things that sound cliche until they actually happen.
