Über mich
Former ESL teacher/volunteer firefighter turned heavy-duty mechanic apprentice.
My diet is flexetarian and I have practiced a lot of sports that I love: soccer, football, wrestling, rugby, baseball, lacrosse, and now mainly rock climbing and cycling! I would love to dance more, but I often don't pack dancing shoes, so dancing barefeet is an option!
PRIMARY LIFE OBJECTIVES:
Smile, laugh, make friends, and fix heavy or commercial equipment..
SIDE MISSIONS:
Learn to dance better (open to lots of dancing styles)
Mediate, and/or study peace and conflict resolution
Bake and share my own sourdough bread.
Do more yoga.
Other Life Objectives: Ride my bicycle, rock climb, workout, improve my language abilities.
ABOUT ME
Laughter is my medicine, so not much escapes my silly attitude. Sometimes, to a fault. I also love having really good, thought invoking, or just outright ridiculous conversations. I can also be quite quiet at first (when necessary).
PHILOSOPHY
Il faut cultiver notre jardin.
(Voltaire)
SOMETHING I WANT TO IMPROVE
I want to swim more, I'm always wanting more cooking experience, and I want to learn to tie lots of knots.
Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin
Because I like meeting interesting people!
Interessen
I have cousins in Mexico that drew me into a passion for learning languages, and I grew up in a province that had me in love with all sports, even ice hockey (despite my inability to skate well). I look forward to learning more languages through people and travels.

Musik, Filme und Bücher
As far as music. all types. They're all great in context. like any other types/genres of media.
My go-to album is "Greatest Hits Vol. 1" the first full length album by P'tit Belliveau
Movies are rad. I love Monty Python's Holy Grail, and A Beautiful Day in The Neighborhood.
The book that gets me thinking is Candide by Voltaire. I enjoy the plots of Greek mythologies, and a play I enjoyed reading is Bombay Black by Anosh Irani. Lastly, I just finished reading The Girl Who Saved the King of Sweden by Jonas Jonasson, and it's quite silly, it's as if Monty Python somehow became a non-fiction novel (but it's fiction that feels real).
Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe
Watching amazing acrobatic feats of lucha libre in Mexico. 😀
Translating French to an English speaking Newfoundlander whom I could barely understand.
Hiking with a content kitten on a leash.
Spontaneous cave exploring.
Lehren, lernen, teilen
I sometimes dream of learning how to sail and live on a sailboat.
I want to start teaching gym, but for now I can teach English, French, and Spanish... as well as the ASL alphabet (for the most part).
I want to share my life stories, and one day, my home as well!
Was ich mit Gastgebern teilen kann
I learned some massages in Government paid French immersion school, so I am happy to do a massage train.
I can offer hosts my ears to listen, and my ideas to share, and maybe some bread to break! 😀
