About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To enjoy life and not get stuck in a rut
ABOUT ME
I'm a happy person! I think I am a little bit of a hippy at heart (although I am probably the most easily stressed hippy you will ever meet!). I thoroughly enjoy being around people and laughing. I will always try things before I judge them - I love defeating my fears.
I love the idea of having millions of different skills but often get distracted quickly onto the next thing. One thing that never changes is my love for being outdoors and exploring.
PHILOSOPHY
Life is a pretty short journey and it's important to make the most of the time we have
I try not to regret anything. I believe we should all strive to do things we enjoy and meet as many people as possible along the way. If we make mistakes, we learn from them (hopefully) and continue. Mistakes and hardships are often the things that make us who we are.
I work to live. I work to travel. I work so that I can see all the people I love and do enjoyable things with them.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I am hoping to continue to spread the word of Couchsurfing even when I'm too busy to host or travel. Sadly my work is very intense and I am unable to host at present but I may be able to meet up. If not I am always happy to give advice on what to do on your visit!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have couchsurfed in a few places in the States during Feb 2011, which was an incredible experience. Every person I stayed with made my time in that city so special. I have also met up with people in New Zealand, England and Denmark. I love that with couchsurfing you are able to appreciate aspects within a country that you would not as a tourist. However, my favourite thing is the people you meet - making friends within a few hours and memories that will last a lifetime!
Interests
I love being outside and being active!
I like meeting people and hearing life stories. Even better if this is done whilst eating and/or drinking!
I love food - pretty much all my money goes on food. I don't often eat meat but instead love my vegetables! I am currently having fun trying out lots of vegan and raw recipes although carrot sticks and hummus is always a winner. Nom nom nom! Sadly cow's milk hates me so I can't always try new foods but really do love it when I can.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I lived in New Zealand for 2 years after what was meant to be a 2 month trip became extended when I fell in love with the country and the people I met. I am so glad I made the choice to stay.
Teach, Learn, Share
I want to learn as many skills as possible!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'm a good listener but can also talk my heart out. I'm helpful to have around the house, as I enjoy cleaning (controversial!) and just being generally useful.
