Hello, my name is Reena!
I’m originally from Paris and I lived in Montreal, Canada in 2023 and 2024 for almost two years. Since July 2025, I’m in Japan on a Working Holiday Visa and I’ll be here until July 2026. I currently live in Kobe and work in a nursing home. I’m also learning Japanese and excited to improve my language skills while experiencing daily life in Japan.

I love exploring Japan and discovering new places. Last year, in April 2024, I traveled solo around Japan for a month, visiting Kyoto, Osaka, Nara, Tokyo, Nagoya, Fukuoka, Kobe, Hiroshima, and Miyajima.
I had great couchsurfing experiences in Nara and Fukuoka.

I especially enjoy hiking, walking in nature, discovering local food, and spending time with locals—those moments are always unique and memorable.

I think I am a respectful, calm, and cheerful person.
I enjoy sharing stories, experiences, and laugh a lot. I always strive to be a clean and considerate guest, respecting house rules and my host’s personal space.

I’m passionate about cultural exchange, photography, and video. I love capturing the beauty of the places I visit and the people I meet, creating lasting memories of my journey. While I’m still learning Japanese, I can communicate in English and share about French and Canadian culture.
