ABOUT ME

My name is Reese. I am 24 years old. I come from Oklahoma. It's a land where the midwest meets the south. So it's both boring and racist and frankly i want out.

I graduated from college last year with, well, probably not the best plan in the world, but a plan none the less, to attend burning man. There I was supposedly meetup with a fellow college friend of mine who would hopefully lead me to a life in the Colorados doing everything that isn't deep fat fried and queer hating. Anyways, I had my ticket and a ride there, when everything changed. My mother caught a nasty batch of cancer, one of those rare horrible stomach monstrousities. So that batch of nastiness killed that year. My mother has recovered nicely and I'm ready to start a new life again.

Alright, that doesn't really explain much, but it sounds cool. I got it from my favorite Rapper BIGGIE!. Anyways, I like to sum up my philosophy on life as responsible hedonism. It seems like oxy moron doesn't it? Well, I want to have as much pleasure as i can out of life, but I want that pleasure to be the long lasting kind. I Don't want to burn out too early, or at all really. I get pleasure from helping my fellow man and from helping myself. Also, too much foul pleasure leads to greater displeasure down the line, which is something I want to avoid, but that's not to say a few nights of excess aren't a bad thing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Does this mean only CouchSurfing off this site? I once slept in a warehouse/artthing/marijuana grow op for a week. It was pretty nasty, but it was an experience. The toilet was broken so i had to go to the convenience store next door to use the restroom. It wasn't the nicest district of LA, which i don't think there are many, So there was lots of vagrants and random people at night drinking. The last night there i heard random small explosions which i hoped were fireworks, but could have been gun shots. Anyway, no LA Warehouse living for me!
