My name is Rita, I am from Siberia, Tomsk. I lived there since the beginning and know this place pretty good.
I work freelance and used to go to warm asian countries for the winter.

I usually spend summertime somewhere in Russia. I can host people when I'm home.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I feel so good when I am at home in my comfort zone but I feel so much better when I travel. Especially if everything going wrong.
Here to find my people all over the world, to find them in every country I am going to. And maybe share my experience with some of them. I will be happy if someone will finally come over to Tomsk so I can show her/him around :)

Interests

I work a lot now for new trips :) Love to take photographs but when it became my job, I got really lazy... But still sometimes I do take pictures and love to edit them. Love asian motorbikes and riding around rrrrrrr!!! Love being on the road!! And also I love to feel inspired. It's coming randomly... boom! magic!!! :)

My dreams for the next couple of years:
- to live in Europe for several months
- to visit Ireland, Iceland, Scotland, South Korea
- to hug a koala

Music is one of my favourite things in life even though I am not musician at all. But I love a lot of absolutely different bands and love to visit the shows.
Movies: Butterfly Effect, all Marvel movies and everything about superheroes.
TV shows: FUN WITH FLAGS, The Big Bang Theory (Sheldon is my hero), Friends, How I Met Your Mother, Scrubs, Lie to me, Lost, Californication, The Ellen Show
I also love Korean dramas :D
Books: Master and Margarita (Mikhail Bulgakov), Clockwork orange (Anthony Burgess), Screw It, Let's Do It (Richard Branson), books of Murakami and also I enjoy reading books about time management and business even though I don't have one yet :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- I kept silence and meditate for 10 days (Vipassana) in Bogor, Java, Indonesia in 2017. Quite hard but such a great experience.
- Woke up at 6 am and had to ride for 12 km including the mountain road.. to get in line to the U2 show... got to wait for 9 hours at one place near the stadium just to be in first line of 500 people. And I was in a third raw at the show. Crazy, I know, but I saw Bono not as a small point but as a real man!
- Tried to ride 30 km around my city on the bicycle... at 4 am with a big group of people but dropped on my chin... had several stitches on it :D
- Made 50 km in Sheregesh on the bike around the mountains the very next year! No accidents. Proud of myself lol.
