Hi! My husband (Nathan) and I (Regan) are travelling to the USA and Canada, in most of June and early July.

We are honest people who work a lot in our small community. We have been together for 8 years and married for 4 and live a fairly quiet life, enjoying the simple things. Nathan has done a lot of volunteering with youth over many years now works as a Youth Worker for the Salvation Army. I volunteer as a horse riding instructor, am a graphic designer and work in a retail clothing store. We also give our time to help organise an event for the Cancer Council Queensland.

Nathan and I are both non smokers and keep our home clean and tidy, we have a police clearance and are working with children accredited. We would love for you to consider us as your potential Aussie friends that we could one day return the favour.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Travelling for us isn't all about the biggest tourist attractions, for us, we love getting to know new people and having a world wide list of friends. We want to get to know the locals and experience the things that only the locals can tell us and the things that aren't in the travel mags, the hidden gems.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In 2009, when I was 17 years old, I was diagnosed with melanoma skin cancer. Fortunately, the growth was found early and I did not have to under-go aggressive treatment other than surgery. Having this experience at a young age gave me appreciation of life and a passion to help people and live my greatest life. I am now 9 years cancer free and since have had many opportunities to advocate to young people .

What I Can Share with Hosts

If we get chance to couch surf, we would be able to share our life and life experiences with our host. We love Australia and the area that we live, and would love to share what it is like to be an Aussie.
