ABOUT ME

a few years ago i traveled in australia, new zealand and bali, and it is then when i fell in love with traveling, dreaming and furthermore making those dreams the reality. the experience granted me with independence, but also made me realize that i enjoy having people around me. i loved the hostel life.
from that moment on i couldn't wait to see and feel the rest of the world.

since then i've fallen in love with my hometown for one crazy good summer, lived in turkey for half a year, and continued to colombo to work as an intern.

what happens next, who knows, and how exciting is that !

PHILOSOPHY

try and find things that you are passionate about and do what truly inspires you. look at the positive side of things.being happy comes from within you. SMILE. enjoy the little things.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

surfed some in the states and went to a gathering in nyc, it was all awesome. met some people over coffee etc. and also hosted rouven and mathias once upon a time with my sister.

i love love movies, my all time favorite is the Lion King. Napoleon Dynamite,the Fight Club,the Graduate,Love Actually. just to name a few. Wes Andersson movies.

the Little Prince, Erlend Loes' Super.Naive, and the BEACH by Alex Garland are among my fav books.
i enjoy reading, but often find it hard to concentrate (if im not on vaca) currently im reading shantaram, and really digging it! a while ago i read a book by haruki murakami, and it was brilliant, so i cant wait to read some more of him.
i really love the guy and the guitar kind of thing--
ben howard, hudson and taylor, pink floyd, michael jackson, jack johnson,john mayer, james morrison, radiohead, the kooks, bob marley, simon&garfunkel, toto, kanye west, reggae and all the rest. indie rock. one of my favorite pleasures is finding some new music and sharing it with friends !

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

just moments of utter happiness. once strike me when i was in a backseat of a four-wheel, Emu Export in my hand, somewhere between horrocks and northampton listening to toto's Africa on replay, looking at those gorgeous views in WA

in australia being happy was as easy as breathing.
