About Me

I love to be outdoors, for working, hiking, climing, working in the garden and walking my dog (at home).

I learned about myself, that I survive without human beings, but to really be alive I seek authentic connection to other human beings.

At the moment I'm working on starting a community living project in southern Germany and finishing my PhD on high mountain permafrost and constructions on it. Im courious, have a strong sense for justice and a fine sense for other living creatures.

What else? I'm happy to talk more!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I experienced how friendly and welcoming people were on my last longer hitchhiking-hammok tour and I'm curious if I can find similar people and stories while maybe staying on your couch or having you over at my places :)

The most authentic view on contries I found so far in people and their stories. I'm glad to share and listen :)

Music, Movies, and Books

Heavy Metal of all kinds, Blues

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Bein invited over to my first couchsurfing experience (was with a friend, so not in my profile) by a Irish gay priest in the countryside of Ireland with "Well, I got a house for a family, but don't have one, so I try to invite one" - we had such a good evening and really good conversation...

Teach, Learn, Share

New perspectives and opinions. A good conversation nourishes an open mind!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm fascinated by constructing and deconstructing "things" - so from ideas to a tine house in your garden ;)

I like exchanging experiences, stories, good music tips, recepies for food and drinks (in theory and practice).

I'm happy to share hikes, interest in architecture, gardening (only veggies, flowers somehow don't survive with me)...

I guess, there will be added more in that section over time, as I realise... I always tend to forget what I could write...

Countries I’ve Visited

Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Ireland, Italy, Kyrgyzstan, Montenegro, Norway, Poland, Slovenia, Switzerland, United Kingdom, United States
