About Me

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It's every time so amazing to trust and be trusted by complete strangers. It makes it possible for me and others to remove these blind spots on the map, see the diversity of countries and their people a bit clearer and get rid of prejudices.

Interests

I absolutely love reading, visiting art museums or attending other cultural events.
As a compensation to living in a big city I also need and appreciate the outdoors sometimes - especially in places where I can swim :D
I also enjoy cooking but I like eating vegetarian food even better.
Within my year abroad I got so addicted to hitchhiking and dumpster diving. I guess once you start it you never want to stop travelling.
I learned to play mahjong and always look for people to play with.

Y me encanta beber mate y jugar truco.

Music, Movies, and Books

I think my favourite writers are some south americans and some austrians, swiss and germans who lived in the 20th century. But that keeps changing just like my favourite movies and music.
At the very moment I love listening to Adam Green, The Moldy Peaches, The Black Keys, Chavela Vargas and some austrian bands. I also have a soft spot for enrique iglesias and sometimes even enjoy dancing to Reggaeton or techno. 😅

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hitchhiking in South America, New Zealand, Australia, Sri Lanka and some European countries.

Teach, Learn, Share

How to make fire in the rainforest and cook pasta on it.

What I Can Share with Hosts

If you have a ukulele I can play and sing songs, cook or give you a crash course in Austrian art and history, German, Spanish or my favorite literary theories.

Countries I’ve Visited

Argentina, Australia, Belgium, Chile, Colombia, Croatia, Czech Republic, Ecuador, England, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Hungary, Israel, Italy, Japan, Netherlands, New Zealand, Peru, Poland, Slovakia, Sri Lanka
