About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To have nice little enlightening experiences here-and-there.

ABOUT ME

I'm a light-hearted girl, who doesn't take life too seriously, until I'm at work and turn into zombie-mode. Well, fortunately I don't work while travelling ;)

Would love to have a cup of herbal tea somewhere sometimes... and cake, definitely cake.

I would like to call myself a YES-kind of girl and then see where things take me.

PHILOSOPHY

Cherish the small things.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have couchsurfed in Riga and Paris and had a nice time. Would like to have some meet-ups as well while I'm not on the road, rails or in-air.

Interests

I like reading, it doesn't always mean classical literature, good chick flicks could do the trick sometimes. I enjoy experiencing drama in art forms much more than taking part in it.

Music, Movies, and Books

Last book that I felt strongly about, was "How to do nothing" by Jenny Odell. I borrowed it from an e-library not knowing what I was getting myself into (with all the flowers on the cover I wasn't expecting much) and yet this book took me away with the suprisingly radical idea that the only thing that is meaningful and that we can control is our attention. As this is something that shapes the world we experience.... also, the flowers on the cover made perfect sense.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Washing some Icelandic cows after their milking time - all this after being a full-time-city-girl.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you how to fold a paper bird or plane... Superman on the other hand...

Also, I can teach you how to make somewhat decent Indian milk-tea. Approved by not-anymore-locals at least twice. Yes, I even have saffron.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Conversations about people in general, psychology.

Polite behaviour.

Help in the kitchen if needed.

Sarcastic sense of humour.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Egypt, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Macedonia, Poland, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom

Countries I’ve Lived In

Estonia
