HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

At the moment I am couch surfing. I'm enjoying meeting/making new friends.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Spending time with locals, I'm finding it a great way to get to know how the towns and cities I visit really work rather than just see the touristy bits. Also, choosing places by where I find a couch-host, I get to visit places that I wouldn't have otherwise.

music: I like a bit of everything, depending on my mood.
books: Italo Calvino's books; Catch 22, Fly Away Peter and heaps of other war themed books, short stories, especially by Olga Masters & Chekov & Asimov but MOST OF ALL I like myths and legends from anywhere.
Movies: Action & Princess movies.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Lived in a house on a Greek island with no door or windows, no water, no electricity, no gas. To bathe we had to go to the village well to collect water, boil it in a giant pot on the wood stove (wood we had cut)and pour it over us with a cup, standing in a bucket in the bathroom, in candle light. I couldn't live like this forever but It was such a great experience!

While I'm traveling I feel like I'm busy trying to get skills and knowledge that I can share later...
I've been trying to figure out what 'Australian Cuisine' is so I can try make it for the people who host me... still figuring out.
