ABOUT ME

Hello, I am a freelance translator from Germany. I managed to end up in my dream city Edinburgh about two years ago, where I started to live, work and love. I met my husband and we just got married a few weeks ago in June 2019. Since then a lot has changed. He had to move to England, so we are living apart but try to meet as often as possible these days to make our time even more special together.

I truly believe in the Irish saying: "A stranger is a friend you haven't met yet.", unless he comes running towards you with a knife, in which case... RUN!

I love to travel and I think Couchsurfing is a great place to bring people together to share and exchange experience, knowledge and get a real feel for a place.
Another hobby I really enjoy doing is reading. Wherever I get the possibility I get my books out.
I also like art, such as the works of William Waterhouse, baking/cooking, music, opera, mythology as well as receiving postcards (people should write more postcards!).

I am a vegetarian, so I am always looking for veggie restaurant recommendations. If you are not that's absolutely fine. Live and let live. <3
