Hey there!

My name is Reijo, I am a young and ambitious traveler from Tallinn, Estonia. I am a calm and creative person: I write, paint, animate, make photography and films, act and so on. I am also pretty sporty, even though I don´t have a number one sport, I just kinda like everything. Football, basketball, volleyball, running, walking, you name it. I am also half-Finnish and I have a big interest towards the Swedish culture and language.

I like to travel a lot and that is what I am going to do a more right now and in the future. I have traveled pretty much everywhere in my small home country Estonia and I have seen a lot of Finland as well, my second home country. Now I am focusing on exploring Europe, starting with the Scandinavia and then from there to everywhere else in Europe. If I keep spreading and exploring with the same pace, I´ll soon end up on the Moon.

I guess that my interest towards traveling comes from the need to know new things and putting myself to the test. I want to improve myself every day, be that emotionally or physically. Usually I train both. And I want to meet new people from different cultures and environments. I love socializing and especially talking about deep topics, but as I still am a bit of an ambivert person, then I do like some time to myself also. But the alone time is the time that I get the best ideas and thoughts.

Some more useful quick facts: I am not a vegetarian, but I have nothing against vegetarian food. I don´t smoke, drink nor use drugs. I have a driving license. I am a cat person, but dogs are cool as well.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to Estonian, Finnish and Swedish hip-hop, pop and rap.

There is a ton of movies that I like, but I´ll bring out "Jurassic Park" and "Interstellar".

I don´t have a favorite book, because every book has given me something. Right now I read mostly Estonian and Finnish fiction, self-development books and financial books.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In spring 2021 I walked from Tallinn to Haapsalu(exactly 100km), which took 21,5h of continuous walking. With some brakes, of course. But on that trip I ran out of water and I had to melt some of the snow that was left from the winter to stay hydrated.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach about writing, painting and other creative stuff. I can teach some Estonian and Finnish and even English to those who maybe can´t speak English that well yet. If you problems with the computer, then I might be helpful at that too.

I would love to learn about everything. Of course I´d definitely like to learn more about anything in the creative area, but I am open to learning everything that you may offer, because I love the amazing feeling when learning the basics of a totally different skill opens up a whole new world.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share my stories of my life in Estonia and Finland, as a bilingual person. As I already said, I do like deep conversations and I hope that I can share some interesting opinions, ideas and viewpoints on different topics.

Or we can just spend time together and I can listen to your stories, because I like listening and getting to know people and the way that you live in certain places. Pretty much just basic human interaction, socializing, you know.
