ABOUT ME

Hello couchsurfers :) I'm Mareike and I am a primary school teacher (what I really like a lot)in Esslingen (close to Stuttgart), Germany.

In my free time I like to meet friends, to go out, to cook and of course: to TRAVEL :)

Before I started studying in Oktober '08 I went to Australia (+ Indonesia, Thailand, Singapore) to work and travel there for 1 year. I had such a great time that I can't think of a better way to spend my time (and money) anymore, than travelling ;)

I would be really happy to meet as many nice people as possible here :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Only very good experiences so far!!
Surfed couches now e.g. in Helsinki and Stockholm and met wonderful people.
It's a great way to meet people from all over the world!!

Interests

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

snorkeling with manta rays in western australia, crazy food marked in ubud (bali), sunset and sunrise in the rice paddys (bali), ....

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach: I could for example teach how to cook a REAL german meal ;)
Learn: I would love to learn how to play the guitar and the piano. Maybe someone can help me :D
Share: We could hopefully share a lot of (travel) experiences :)
