My boyfriend, Morgan and I are traveling by train from London to Singapore via the Trans-Siberian Railroad . He is mostly fluent in Spanish and Chinese and he's learning Russian and French. I speak some French and I am learning Spanish. We both work for Voyageur Outward Bound School as wilderness instructors helping people learn more about themselves and showing them that they are more capable than they ever thought they were. We are young, excited Americans and we are seeking authentic, friendly experiences with people we otherwise would not have the chance to connect with.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We are very interested in meeting local people in each place we travel and in learning from them. We also are trying to travel on a budget. We believe that travel is made worthwhile by the connections that we make, rather than just the sights we see. Using a site like Couch Surfing allows us to rely on other people's hospitality and creates strong connections and lasting memories.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've canoed for 27hrs straight in the Florida Everglades. Morgan has played a rock concert for a crowd of 10,000 in a "small" Chinese village.
