ABOUT ME
Born and raised in the ghetto of Baarn
.
Lived in Groningen for most of my student life, recently moved to Amsterdam!
Spending most time on basketball, and skiing when I can. I also do a master in industrial engineering and management.
I did a gap year after highschool and got to travel a lot. Since, I've been trying to keep it up, I've backpacked with my mate Daniel through South America and SE Asia, and in the summer of 2015 through eastern Europe, Greece, Georgia, Azerbaijan and Iran. Summer of 2016 were in Morocco, Israel, Jordan. Internship in Malaysia, from where I traveled to Myanmar, Indonesia, Sri Lanka and more.
I went couchsurfing with a friend in Sweden before I had my own account and LOVED it! I've since been couchsurfing in a cave in mountains in Jordan, throughout Iran and loved every one of my experiences!
I'm a relaxed guy, I love sports (mostly basketball and skiing) and like traveling (I shit you not) and learning languages.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I visit people, people visit me, that's pretty much my plan
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Before I made my own account, a friend introduced me to cs while we were in Sweden. I've had some great couchsurfing experiences in Iran, absolutely loved the people and the hospitality there!
I haven't couchsurfed a lot since. Kinda lost track of my account here but looking to rejuvenate!

I don't read a lot during the academic year, but I did enjoy non-fiction interesting books like Freakonomics. I'm definitely open to suggestions!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Backpacking thru south america for 2 months with my mate.
Skied in the Andes, mountainbiked the Death Road, almost summitted a 6000m high volcano, caught an anaconda with bare hands, got into an accident on a peruvian highway with a drunk truck driver while hitchhiking and ate guinea pig (can't recommend, tastes awful)
Teach, Learn, Share
i can teach you how to juggle and belly dance (no joke)
