About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Making new friends worldwide, building memories

ABOUT ME

I was born in Malaysia, back packed for nearly two year and worked in Hong Kong. Currently I'm working in Singapore in Regional HR. I love to try new things, new food, visit new places and listen to fresh perspectives/ideas. I enjoy listening to other people's life stories and have a few adventures to share of my own.

PHILOSOPHY

We all have two lives. The second one starts when we realise that we only have one.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I stayed with Ryan and his girl friend in Waiheke island. Connie and I went for sunset picnic every evening, had so many interesting conversations, tried their home cooked food, shared with them my asian fried noodles and went to a few house parties together. So much more fun than staying alone in backpackers! Traveling is not just about going to a new place and taking pretty pictures. There must be so much more to that. At the end of the journey, I at the very least learn so much more about place and its local culture and people. And if I'm lucky, it can even help build me as a person.

Interests

Try new things, meet new people, read, listening to live bands, clubbing, travel.

Teach, Learn, Share

As I grow up in Malaysia and travelled around South East Asia, I can share with you the Asian perspectives to things. And because I have many wonderful expats friends from Europe who are currently living in Singapore, I'm able to compare and identify the cultural gaps that we have. There are lots of funny moments because we are so different but our friendships works because we fundamentally share the same values on respect and trust.

What can I share with you includes the following :

1. The place to visit and costings information for a few countries I travelled before (Cambodia, Thailand, Brunei, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Philippines, Vietnam, Japan, Taiwan, New Zealand, Aus, Hong Kong)

2. Where girls can have free flows drinks in HK and SG. And one place that even guys can have free flow in HK.

3. Asian and some simple western recipe
