About Me

I'm a curious person, always ready for unusual experiences and excited to get to know a ton of new interesting people on my travels, learn about their culture and philosophies. I like action, excitement and taking risks, but also enjoy just leaning back sometimes and reading a book while drinking a cup of tea.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

In the past few years, I've discovered my passion for traveling and realized, how strongly it is connected to the people I get to know on the journey. If I just go back to a hotel after having visited all the typical tourist attractions, I haven't learned about what makes a place really special: the locals and their culture. Getting to know aforementioned has become my traveling goal, so what would be a better way to connect with the locals, than staying with them? I've heared many good things about this platform and decided to give it a try.

Interests

I always enjoy getting to know new people and having good conversations. I’m pretty much interested in anything new, but I really like climbing, water sports and lately I’m trying to get into music and arts.

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy all different sorts of music... I had a long rock- and a pop-phase, right now I really like reggae and electronic music, but also classical music. A very important part of music for me is the expression of emotions and thoughts and I love it, if it instantly makes me dance. I’m trying to get into making music myself, but it’s more difficult than I thought!
I really like thought-provoking books that challenge my world view like Having or Being from Erich Fromm or Sophies World, which I’m reading at the moment, but also short stories or fictions to relax.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I wrestled with a sheep and won 💪🏽
