Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To learn to cope with conflicts in a calm and effective way. :) Also taking step towards lowering our ecological footprint, day by day... :)
ABOUT ME
Our whole names are: Lázár Viktória and Spohn Réka.
We both work as microbiologists in this research group: http://group.szbk.u-szeged.hu/sysbiol/vlazar.html
We are two quite different personality, still having some major commonalities making us spending every day together... :) Like hiking, especially cycling, scuba diving and in general discovering new places underwater and overland. Still thinking about exploring the sky, but I (Réka) have a bit too much acrophobia... :S
PHILOSOPHY
Now I'm (Réka) starting to get one, which goes something like that: a happy life is a life lived slowly and imperfectly... :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Our home is an open place for all of our friends... They can come and eat and/or sleep here whenever they'd like to, provided we are at home... :) It gives us such beautiful memories and so much happiness, so we decided to open our home towards people all around the world. :) We have met some amazing people so far! :)
Also in 2012 we couchsurfed from Boston to Washington DC which was an unbelievable experience and a unique way to get to know people, places, cultures... :)
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Just fell in love with the idea of excluding money from as many area of our lives as possible.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Cycling through the big plain of Hungary.
Couchsurfing from Boston to Washington DC. :)
Bicycling through Slovenia... Spending a whole week with all your things on your bike, biking more than 400 km-s, through mountains and next to rivers and finally reaching the sea... felt like endless freedom! :)
Hiking up and down Vaganski vrh (1757m) in a day, literally from sea level (our tent was on the sea shore :) ). -> Paklenica National Park, Croatia.
Repeating it with Ben Nevis (1344m) of Scotland, shaking things up with starting the hike at noon... :P
