My name is Réka (which pronunciation I heard in so many different ways :D), coming from a lovely small town in Hungary, called Veszprém. During my studies at the university to become a mathematician :3, I lived in our beautiful capital, Budapest. Then I spent 1.5 amazing years with amazing people abroad during my masters, one in Italy and half a year in the Netherlands.

I'm really into crazy adventures -especially in nature, the more challenging, the more attractive.

Interests

I'm a big fan of sports in general, super keen on cycling, basically any kind of ballgames, hiking..
but usually interested in anything new, recently experimenting with skateboarding and snowboarding :))

As for passive sport, I like watching handball, especially when the boys from my town are playing, MVM Veszprém!

Music is my other passion, every summer I have visited at least one festival for a while now. :) If you're in Budapest in August, Sziget Festival is a must!

Some randomly listed other interests of mine: being around kids, tutoring, movies, trying to make other people's life better as much as possible:)

Music, Movies, and Books

My favourite bands are constantly changing but here are a few of my all-time favourites: Imagine Dragons, Bastille, AJR, Sum41, some Hungarian alternative bands

Movies: Into the Wild, Wild.. They really make me want to leave everything behind and just go! (Maybe I should stop watching them during the semester :D)

But sometimes I just love watching some romantic comedies, although you know the whole story exactly from the beginning. ^^

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I am very proud of myself for doing a ~200 km long bike tour around Lake Balaton (in Hungary) in one day, mostly alone!

Hitchhiking with my bestie all the way from Paris to Barcelona, then back to Hungary!

One and a half months spending in Gersthofen (near Augsburg) and in the surroundings in Germany with the loveliest family, I could have wished for! Being an Au-Pair for them was one of my greatest experience so far..

I consider myself a good listener and definitely curious about any stories concerning life, experiences, different cultures...
