About Me

Not a host, as I’m currently a nomad of sorts. Taking my time (relatively speaking) exploring the world, one city, and town, at a time. Being nomadic was a long time dream of mine, so after living abroad in Dubai for 2.5 years, and traveling around the world on short trips alone, I finally got up the courage to make the leap officially.

I am currently working remotely part-time and hoping to start my own business, once I figure out what that might be.

I love wine tasting, eating good healthy food, trying new things, meeting new people, getting into deep conversations, walks, beaches, lakes, mountains, road trips. I enjoy yoga, reformer Pilates, megaformer, spinning, and hiking shorter distances.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

First and foremost, I want to meet new people. I travel the world alone all the time and it gets lonely. Despite my comfort zone being AirBnBs and hotels, couch surfing seems like a great way to meet new people, stay in interesting places, and remain on a budget. Plus, I've heard great things.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I’ve done a lot of “amazing” things. I try to live life so I have stories to tell when I’m old and grey (like actually old and actually grey, not just a few sore joints and a few grey strands).

I’ve traveled the world, much of the time alone, paraglide off the cliffs of Lima, Peru and Lion Head in Cape Town. I’ve white waterrafted class 3-4-5 rapids, ridden camels in the desert of Dubai and a donkey up the steps of Petra, Jordan. I’ve snorkeled in the Red sea in Israel, Off the Gilis in Indonesia, Mauritius, and Hawaii. It’s not all the most amazing stuff, nor is it just one thing, but it’s been a fun life and I hope to continue it.

Teach, Learn, Share

I really wish I had some shareable teachable skill. I can teach people about User Experience best practices, Researching. I can help start-ups, partnerships, and growth opportunities.

People tend to open up to me, and I enjoy helping them just by listening and giving advise - so I can help share that skill.

I want to learn lots of things

I can share laughter, and stories
