About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Spread the love. Growing up in a western society where consumerism is so dominant is one of the saddest things I have witnessed. Traveling has opened my mind and heart so much! I would love to share/teach everyone I meet that there is another way of living from the way they were raised.
Of course I understand its not for everyone, but I still want to spread the knowledge that there is more.

ABOUT ME
First of all, I am not a morning person. I can be a real grump as soon as I wake. Just a heads up, sometimes it best if you just try not talk to me for the first half hour of me being up ;)
I am however a night owl! As soon as the sun starts to fall I perk right up and start talking more and all this natural energy comes alive within me.

I love traveling! My first big trip was when I was 20, second one when I was 24 and now 27 one my third big trip. I have had loads of small trips in between. Sometimes I feel I have traveled heaps. Then sometimes I feel like I am still so inexperienced, totally depending on who I am around.

I love talking and learning from people. If I find someone interesting and want to learn from them, I an not afraid to speak up and let them know that I want to learn more from them.

I can totally see myself traveling for the rest of my life.

What my friends think of me: Loving, Kind, Adventurous, Happy Go Lucky, Energetic, Spontaneous, Strong Minded, Fearless, Quirky, Bohemian, Straight Shooter, Not afraid to Speak My Mind, Good Fun, The Joker, Free Spirit,

PHILOSOPHY
Do what makes you happy, when it stops making you happy, stop doing it.

Karma.

Law of attraction. If you think it, it will come to you. Be careful what you think!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have lived in a shared house and helped entertain the lucky travellers that surfed our couches, the place was like party central for a while.
I am now travelling myself and am not so in need of a couch, but defiantly in need of conversation with like minded fellow travellers.
I really enjoy using the forum on here. Sharing and seeking advice.

Interests

I like extreme activities that keep my mind, body and soul focused and strong.
I absolutely love aerials and silks. Not great at it. But so quirky and a great way to stay fit.
I am also new to Scuba Diving, love it and I want to do more!!
Although I do not do the following often, I rarely pass up the opportunity to do so. Rock climbing, rafting, trekking, camping, bicycle riding.
I also love dancing! Be it in my bedroom to a night club or at a week long festival, you will hardly see me sit still for long if there is music pumping!

I like architecture and extreme landscapes. (Also another good point why I am travelling)
I love meeting people that can hold a deep random conversation, I am into conspiracy theories and philosophy.
I love card and board games, mostly pictionary!

I have recently taken an interest into an 'alternative' lifestyle.
I want to learn more and live more like a 'Hippy'.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music:
I love most music that can make me get up and dance to. Top choices would be Drum and Bass and Psytrance.
Though I am happy listening to anything depending on mood and setting. I love people that are passionate about their music!

Movies: The fifth element, alice in wonderland, human traffic, trainspotting, fear and loathing, gia, girl interrupted, a few flew over the cuckoo's nest, as good as it gets, Amélie, natural born killers, pulp fiction, run lora run, hannah, lock stock, snatch,

Books: I enjoy non fiction books, self help types too. Some biographys. I like learning from what I am reading and somewhat struggle to stay focused on fiction/fantasy.
Favourite story for when I am on the road is Dr.Suess 'Oh the places you will go'!!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Tiger Temples in Thailand. defiantly the high light of my trips so far! Playing with the adultescent tigers with a bag on a 6ft stick. So Scary! So Amazing! (2013)

When I was on a train travelling from Italy to Germany, through Austria. The mountains were covered in snow and as the train krept between them it felt like you could reach out and touch them, watching as the water fall from the angelic beast brought tears of joy to my eyes. Even thinking about the beauty of it now brings it back, even chocks me up thinking about it now. I cant wait to see more. (2008)

Took my Dad to Thailand for his 64th birthday, two week holiday, was amazing and couldn't imagine a better travel buddy than my best friend in the whole wide world, my dear old Dad. (2014)

Being in Thamel on the 25th of April when the first earthquake (7.9M) hit. A life changing experience, such an awakening! (2015)

Teach, Learn, Share

I am sure I could teach a lot, to do with basic loving your self and believing in what you want.

Learn:
I would like to confidently drive a motorbike by my self.
More about food and not just how to cook it, but also all the healing benefits of food, to learn about it on such a deeper level. I am sick of the way westerner society has turned food into something so unhealthy so foreign to our bodies.

I would like to learn more about yoga and meditation.

I would also like to learn how to give massages, like Thai yoga massage!

Also been saying for many years that I would like to learn the guitar.

Languages, not saying I would like to be an expert on any one other language, though I would like to know how to say hi, how are you? one beer please, thank you, good bye. in most languages :)
I would also like to learn Deutsch I am trying, Any Germans out there would like to chat over lunch? My shout ;)

I would also like to learn how to make macrame.

I want to learn so much!

Share: Conversation, Advice, Tavel, good times with good vibes ;)

What I Can Share with Hosts
