Overview
About Me
My name is Remco Mulders and I am part of STORM Eindhoven, a student automotive team from the Eindhoven University of Technology that is located in the Netherlands.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
STORM Eindhoven is a multidisciplinary automotive team of Eindhoven University of Technology that consists of 29 dedicated engineering students. We are currently building an electric touring motorcycle to drive around the world in 80 days.
In order to prove that e-mobility is both durable and desirable, we will race around the world in 80 days, relying on plug-in points provided by STORM followers, charging locally at people’s houses. The goal of this challenge, taking place in 2016, is to bring electric mobility to the people. It also serves as the ultimate proof of concept for electric mobility.

What I Can Share with Hosts
Become part of the STORM-grid, and help STORM recharge our batteries. By the way: if you can provide our team finding a safe place where we can camp on the rooftops of our support vehicles, help us prepare food or give us access to a bathroom we will be very grateful.
The success of our project is dependent on support all around the world. Although facilitating our power and camping location is already very helpful, we could make this action an even greater event.
@ Home: The event can be as small as just plugging in. It could however get as large of an event where you invite all your friends, neighbors and maybe even the mayor. STORM can present the enormous challenge that we face, and transmit our enthusiasm for e-mobility to your friends. If local press reports on this event, we can transmit this message to even more people in your surroundings
Would you like to support our team of ambitious students?
Do you access to a power outlet?
Would you like to be part of the STORM-Grid?
Please send me a message :)
