Because not all places in the world have hostels or are very costly. I am traveling alone and going into hostels and meeting people is a must to keep traveling fun. For me having a good experience while traveling means also meeting new people. A lot of cities on the countryside in a lot of countries will not have hostels and hotels are extremely costly. But these places do often find themselves to have english teachers from other countries :).

Any new experience that I have not yet lived. Any new person I have not yet met and any new place I have not yet seen. Besides this I do travel with about 20 decks of cards, a ukulele and a harmonica. This is because I love music. I have played the piano forever and learning new instruments is always fun. The decks of cards is because I am a part time magician (hobby) and I love performing for anyone and anywhere where people are interested. Its always fun seeing peoples reactions :)

Im confused by this category, but what I am looking most for in a host is a sleeping spot at first. But if you have time and are willing to socialize, I love that more. Constantly traveling means constantly meeting new people but also constantly leaving them and always having new moments where you have to meet new people. Any host that can show me around the city, or share a drink or cup of coffee is highly appreciated.

Guitar, piano, harmonica and ukulele skills. Perform a couple hours of magic tricks to entertain the hosts (I swear I am good hahaha, even got paid at one point to perform). And a beer. I love sharing a beer with anyone who has a story to tell.
