I am tractor driver for Nicholson Contracting (Villa Maria) in Blenheim, in the Malborough wine region in New Zealand for the 2016 vintage.
ABOUT ME

I am Rémi, a 26 years old guy from France who came in Australia with a Working Holiday Visa for a year.
I finished to study Bank & finance in France but I decided to take a break before to start to work to improve my English. I try to avoid as much as I can the backpackers places in staying with locals.

PHILOSOPHY

I think that nothing happen by chance in the world but we have to do our best every time to never have any regrets. I try to make my life as I want it to be and not just wait some luck or envy others. I am provoking the luck. I don't want to dream but make my dreams comes true.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

At the moment, I am travelling so I don't get my own place to participate but when I will be able to be host, that will be a real pleasure !

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I didn't have any proper experiences with Couchsurfing yet. I used HelpX (similar to Woofing) to meet, share and live with locals in Australia. I also travelled with mates met in Australia who let me good reviews via Couchsurfing.

Intereses

I am interesting to meet people from everywhere, with different ages, cultures and way to live.
I like to play and follow/watch sports and keep fit. I enjoy to eat healthy, but I also can eat some junk food sometimes !
I also like to read, listen and share music, cinema, stay connect, watching news, ...
I like driving cars, motorbikes, and all the different things with motors !

I just try to keep a balance between everything.

Música, películas y libros

I am eclectic, since my 14 years old, I store all the different kinds of music I listened so now I've got a lot of albums to share ! I like to listen some Hip Hop, Indie, Electronic, Pop, reggae.. depends of my mood !

I am trying to read some books in English to improve my level in it. I didn't read a lot before but I start to enjoy it. When I was young I just read a lot of comics. At the moment I like to read Paulo Coelho' books.

Algo increíble que he hecho

The most amazing and interesting thing I have done is to came in Australia by myself with just a litlle bit of money and only basis in English level while I never traveled before. That changed my life!
