Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To meet new people and experience their culture and lifestyle from up close :)
I believe that a country is way more shaped by it’s people then by it’s landscape. By meeting these people one get’s to know the country. One of the biggest mistakes one can make is visiting a country and not have a single interaction with a local. Their perspectives and visions can give you an unique insight in the country and the working of it. That’s why i think couchsurfing is a fascinating concept and a great opportunity for exploring a country or region ^^

Music, Movies, and Books
I honestly like all kinds of music from Death Grips to Led Zeppelin, Godspeed You! Black Emperor to Biggie and Ludovico Einaudi to CCR, ABBA and Charles Bradley. My favourite band right now has to be The War On Drugs, which i highly recommend you to check out, especially live!
Just like my taste in music i like a different kinds of movies. Some of my favourites include Les Intouchables, Interstellar, Ali G Indahouse and 12 Angry Man.
I mostly read fictional literature. Books i recently enjoyed a lot are Norwegian Wood, A Little Life, The Memoirs of a Geisha and some dutch books. I also love fantasy especially a song of ice and fire and the kingkiller chronicles of which i’m eagerly awaiting their last books.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Been part of an intriguing traditional jewish shabat!
