About Me

I grew up in Paris and stayed in this fabulous city for 25 years before seriously travelling around.
Therefore I am a lot of a city guy, enjoying the crazy experiences which the highest density of humans can offer. If you're about cruising from bars to parks through the little streets of the city, would it be under the sun or the street lights, I'm in!

Now the odd thing for a city boy is that I'm crazy about wild places and especially wildlife! As much as I love spending my evenings surrounded by as many people as possible, I also love spending my days crashing through the bush and getting overly excited by the sight of a bizarre bug.
Oh and if you bring a pet near me, be sure he's ok with over-attention...

Last but not least: travelling. I had the insane chance to be raised by travelers. My parents brought me along on their travels for more than ten years and I got the virus since then. If I stay too long at the same place, I can't help it, I have to pack up and go somewhere. It can be the next town or the other side of the planet, discovering a new place and meeting new people, this is travelling, this is my stuff.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I don't have any couch at the moment even for myself but as soon as I will stop somewhere I will be happy to offer a haven for couchsurfers. For the moment I hope that staying on other couches will help me know how to be the best host possible.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've surfed to different places so far and enjoyed it a lot!

Interests

Wildlife and people. Could'nt figure out in wich order as both of them would'nt be the same without the other.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Once, in Bataan Peninsula, in a village I couldn't ever find again, a group of Aeta kids sang a song to me. It was awesome. I also liked singing and listening to national anthems in pubs in Japan or Tonga. Whatever you sing will always be nice if you sing it with joy (Damn I sound like a stupid hippie...)

Books: Good Omens - Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett
Un loup est un loup - Michel Folco

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Once, in a bar, I stacked about twelve coasters all together on the side of a table; then I managed to flip them up and catch all of them mid-air!

Teach, Learn, Share

Did you know some freshwater turtles in Australia can breathe through their buttholes? This is the kind of stuff you'll learn from me...
