ABOUT ME

Hi everyone. My name is Remi, originally from France but lived in Scotland for over 6 years. I have always been passionate about travelling which is why this is the career path I have decided to follow.

I consider myself as being an intelligent and funny individual, always up for having a great time. I love discovering new ways of life, new culture and meeting new people from all around the world. People say I'm very easy going and easy to get on with.

PHILOSOPHY

I would never thank enough my parents for giving me the opportunity to embark in my first trip abroad about 15 years ago. Direction, Tunisia. At that time, travelling was still perceived as a luxury and knew I was lucky enough to experience my first take off, not without any fear.

What I did not know is that this trip would change my life forever. This did not only open my mind to another culture and way of life, it also made me discover a real interest in the unknown and enhanced my curiosity.

Today, travel is everything to me, my work, my passion and my love. My goal is to visit every corner of the globe before I die.

Been talking to some very nice people and hosted my first guest last year which was a fun experience! I'm a fairly busy person but always happy to consider hosting new people so give me a shout and I will see what I can do for you.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My experience here has just been amazing. I’ve been hosted by the most amazing people who really took the time to show me their area, made me feel very welcome and home with them. I can’t wait to meet more amazing people all around the world and once I decide to settle somewhere, to host more people!

Interests

I love sports (especially badminton, tennis and table tennis), a big fan of music and live gigs (pop, rock, charts - i hate rap music though). I go very often to cinema and have a keen interest in learning new languages.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favourite band is Evanescence and favourite singer is Rihanna.
I am very opened minded with music but some of my personal favourites would be: Sia, Katy Perry, Green Day, Beyonce, Kesha, Maluma, etc.

I watch a lot of series (probably too much) including AHS, Game of Thrones, Orange is the New Black, True Blood, The Walking Dead, How To Get Away With Murder, Bates Motel, to cite a few.

Unfortunately I do not read very often.
