About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To exchange ideas with people of various cultures, to learn and teach, to give and receive.
ABOUT ME
I do not Just LIKE traveling I LOVE IT! A few years ago I completed my 12 month around the world trip. (visiting 6 continents and over 20 countries) Apart of traveling I am interested in various sports, photography, books, cinema, music, motorbike riding, horse riding, scuba diving, sailing, hiking, foreign languages, cooking / eating.. the list goes on. However most of all I really enjoy meeting people (of all ages) from different cultural backgrounds. I believe no traveling experience can be complete if we do not mix with some local residents. The locals are the ones who can advise us the best as to where to go and what to see and explain the little differences in language, customs, behavior, teach about history etc.
PHILOSOPHY
Make every day better than yesterday.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
There are still a lot of people that have never even heard about CS. While travelling, the best I could do was to spread the word about CS community and be the most respectful and pleasant guest I could be. Now since I am back at home ( Sydney )I am happily hosting travelers. Simply I want to help people and also give back to the community.
First Sunday each month I go sailing with my friends on a big sailing boat (30 meter, 80 ton schooner) my guests are always welcome to join. I have a recreational centre at work where you can use (free swimming pool -25 meters, Jacuzzi, sauna or gym). If you however are very good guest (and cook very well :) I may take you for a ride on my motorbike or show you around my local beaches by car.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I found my first couch 1 October 2008 in Buenos Aires. 6 weeks later I came back to visit the same host.
Thank you Juan :-)
Since then I was hosted by a number of fantastic people across a few continents. Now I am very happy to host CSers myself.
