Hi, I'm Remke, 51, a quiet, friendly, sensitive, creative woman who loves to be in nature and loves to travel and meet people from all over the world. I'm working as a visual artist and photography teacher.

Having long conversations and being in a busy environment can be very intense for me. I love to do activities with less words, like dancing Argentine tango, biking, drawing, qigong, stand up paddling, hiking, swimming, sitting around a camp fire etc. I love the sea! (when it s not crowded.) I also like sitting on a quiet terrace, watching people, while enjoying a latte décaf :)
Don't have animals myself, but love them.

I live close to the old centre of Utrecht, 5 min walk. And 7 min walk from train station Utrecht Vaartsche Rijn. 1 min walk from busstop to train station Utrecht Centraal and to the forest. 1 hour with public transport to Amsterdam, The Hague, Rotterdam and Den Bosch.

I don't follow the news because it often makes me feel sad and it feels like the world is a negative place. When I don't follow the news but experience the world and the people around me myself, the world feels much more positive! So many great and kind people in the world :)

helicopter flight over an active volcano in Hawaii; climbing trough a waterfall in the French Alpes; standing on a black lava beach in Iceland surrounded by huge, dripping, blue iceblocks; swimming with my best friend who was very pregnant in a beautiful bay in Hawaii when dolphins appeared and swim with us! Seeing the Northern Lights in Swedish Lapland!

I can teach you how to make better photos, make a nice portrait of you (and your loved ones), bake dutch pancakes. Maybe we can do an activity together: I love to do activities with less words, like dancing tango, biking, drawing, doing qigong excercises, stand up paddling, hiking, swimming, sitting around a camp fire etc. I could teach you how to dance Argentine tango :)

It's also perfectly fine with me if you are not there or don't have time to spend time together. I'm very greatful if you can offer me a quiet and safe place to stay.
