I'm Matteo, I love being with people and exchanging stories and experiences, sharing moments that will become memories and new tales.

I'm based in Italy at the moment but looking at getting back on the international scene, Scandinavia is on top of my list. I've spent 4 years in Norway and I'm very interested in Finland now.

Photographer by trade, Philosopher in the spirit (and I have a degree that says I actually am a doctor in Philosophy, but still haven't worked out how to get something out of it...).

The times when I felt the safest while traveling were the ones when I was the weakest (experience from traveling by bike through Marocco free camping)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like sharing chats, experiences and meals with new people from all around the world.

I like experiencing the unique skill that CS and traveling can bring on to people: the ability of being with total strangers and feel like you're among life-long friends!

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: everytithing by Jim Jarmush and Wim Wenders, great fan of David Lynch and especially of course Twin Peaks, in general I like brainy stuff that will always keep you wondering "what's going to happen now?!?!" even though at times it can be a bit boring.

Music: a great deal of classic rock, rock'n'roll, blues, jazz, everything with guitars in it. But I can also be touched by classical music, opera.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Sometimes I look back and I think: "What?!?! Really?!?!" From Australia to Norway, China and Italy, Morocco and Spain, I'll be glad to tell you all when we'll meet. I promise some entertainment! ;)

I love baking bread and pizza, and I could teach you that if I can stay at yours at least two days.
