Hello fellow Surfers !

I am an Indian girl, dreamer and --- a travel enthusiast. I think that's what brings most of us here.
My work has given me ample opportunities for globe trotting, but in all my other spare time i keep looking for options to explore this vast and very beautiful country called INDIA :)
I am a Project manager by profession and have been working for over 11 years now. May sound boring but its a pretty interesting work which combines my interest to travel as well.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

So why am i here !!
Well business travels pack a different box of experiences. This gave me the exposure, comfort and confidence to be able to manage on my own outside my home grounds.
I wish to now step out on my own and explore the world. Be able to meet more people and new thoughts and talk everything other than business.
It means I invite people over to my little abode and be able to spend sometime somewhere else as i venture out.
I will try and pen down some more as i can think later :)

Interests

- Travelling which is more than evident ! I dont have much qualms about a fancy setup. I am happy to go backpacking and hitch hiking.... we don't get to do that much in India though !
- Fond of eating and cooking and feeding :)
- Flea market , roadside shopping
- Collecting Fridge magnets and Shot glasses from across.... I have about 25 of them now. Its a biiiig world and i shall have more
- i read when i get a good fiction in hand
- i write when i am too touched by something. Mostly when i am sad. When i am happy, I am too busy being happy :)

- Do's and Don'ts while visiting India, or any of the other countries i have visited

- Their culture and language...few words atleast
- The fun things they do
- how to make the best of my time in that place

- Long conversations if they like
- the passions that drives each of us
- Anything else that comes along ;)

What I Can Share with Hosts

Offer help in cleaning up the place
Maybe cook an Indian home-meal. Chillies can be eliminated on request :)
