Overview
About Me
Hi! Here Roman, a long hair stranger from (only sometimes) freezing Poland. I live with my wife Agata and daughter Zoja in the old town of Cracow. I like collecting plants and mushrooms, playing board games and going to music festivals. I like cats, I like dogs. Oh, I also do religious studies as a PhD student in Jagiellonian University. It's fun.
Foremost, I love meeting people from around the world and share a word with them. If the contact with other beings is primary for you in CS, feel free to write to me!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
So far, so good! CS's just a wonderful thing.
I would like to host especially people who speak Russian, French, Spanish or Korean. Because I like to practice :)
Interests
I have MA in film and Korean studies, and currently I am doing PhD in religious studies. That should tell you something about my interests. But I am also a nature lover. With my wife, we like to collect food from the woods. I can tell you a lot about polish plants and mushrooms if you are interested!

Music, Movies, and Books
When it comes to books I am moody. Sometimes I read something serious about the universe and evolution of the biosphere, and sometimes something lighter (Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett are one of my favorites). Big fan of Harry Potter here. Love SF as well.
I also finished film studies, so if cinema is your thing, definitely we can have many topics to share. In Poland I sometimes write about movies as journalist.
When it comes to music I do not have a one genre. I listen a lot to all form of electronic, ambient, psychill etc. I love world music too.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Traveling both South and North Korea.
Teach, Learn, Share
I like learning new languages and practice other languages than english.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I am not a party person, but I always enjoy a good conversation, with a cup of tea. Coffee goes as well!
Walking around is also a possibility, and I know some unique local places.
