About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Learn. Learn, learn, learn. Elizabeth Gilbert says 'The world is like a dropped pie most of the time. Don't kill yourself trying to put it back together. Just grab a fork and eat some of it off the floor. Then carry on.' And I'm working to always remember this as I go :)

ABOUT ME
Pretty ordinary I suppose :)

PHILOSOPHY

Don't hurt or steal. Share the space, joy and love. Celebrate the differences.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To make new friends and travel the world :)

Please please please stop using this application for sending date requests to random people on the net. It's gross!
No, I'm not interested to meet you or just hang out with you because you're single or currently have a lot of time to pass. Neither interested in sharing stories or grabbing a cup of coffee to see if we are compatible with each other. So pissed off!

Interests

New places and people grab my attention. Interesting ones hold it for some time. I love being a wanderer, its in my spirit. Love my own company, and enjoy others' as well. Like talking, reading, art, design, animals, nature, cooking, eating, photography, riding bikes and a lot of other things. I know I sound very vague, but this is the best it gets when I have to describe myself. :)

Music, Movies, and Books

The alchemist by Paulo Coelho has been like the only book I read thrice ;)
Pink Floyd, Prem Joshua, System of a down, SHM, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Eddie Vedder. Varied interests I must say.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Sunsets, mindblowing cloud formations, small colourful bugs, rain drops falling under the street lamp, a hug from a dear person, a lot of these natural, daily life, simple yet beautiful things have left me in awe. There should be millions of them and almost everything indescribably amazing. And the moment where you are speechless, something more than just that memory stays with you after that experience. And that changes your life forever, little by little. :)

Sleeping to the sound of waves by the beaches of Pondicherry, feeling the happiest in the hills of kodaikanal, immersing the ears in the deafening silence of the ocean and staring in to the sky above while floating in the Bay of Bengal in Chennai, soaking in the pond for hours like a hippopotamus in Kollengode, playing with mud and worms and insects in the green farms until the sun goes down, riding motorbikes completely soaked and wet in rain along the twisted roads in Munnar, watching the moon through the windows of a car while going high speed in Bangalore, dancing away as if music had entered not just my soul, but my body and mind, in Wayanad, losing breath every single time I saw the Himalayan mountain ranges in the horizon when in Sikkim, howling like a wolf in the reserved forests in old Manali, sitting in the balcony and slipping into the deepest truths of life, in kochi, simple moments like this, are all I can claim as mine. When the whole universe and me were in sync :)

Teach, Learn, Share

Love to learn anything new. Especially if they are new languages or related to art or bikes.
