Hello everybody!

My name is Remy Legrand, I am 26 and I live in Braine-l'Alleud, Belgium.
I work as a Systems Administrator in Brussels.

I love travelling to discover amazing new cultures and people.

I really enjoy learning quite anything and I must say, the most important thing that I have learned by travelling, is respect for other cultures. When you can see the life of a person, in a day-to-day basis, you start thinking about yours and question your values (in a good way).

Anyway, other than that, I love sports. Even though I am not really good with stamina, I start running more and more and to my surprise, I start enjoying it.
I love things related to bodybuilding. I know what you must think now, "Oh, a brainless bodybuilder". So first of all, I am not buffed at all, because I haven't been going to gym long enough for that, but also, you learn how your body works, what muscle is where, what is exactly its purpose. But not only, your learn to eat correctly and to know what is really good or bad for your body.
It's a whole world, not just "look at this biceps".

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I haven't done Couchsurfing yet, but the reason why I would like to start, is that it would really help me save a lot of money and thus visit more countries :)

Music :
I listen to almost everything, with the exception of rap and dubstep (but Eminem and a few others are ok).
My favorite is electro (old Daft Punk and Justice).
Here are some other bands that I like : Red Hot Chili Peppers, Linkin Park, lostprophets, P.O.D., Greenday, Billy Talent, Prodigy, Pendulum, ...

Movies :
I watch everything with a tendency for horror and sci-fi movies.

Books :
I do not read a lot of books per se. But I read constantly on the internet, articles and documents about various things. As long as I can learn something, I am happy with it :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Travelled to Siberia during winter! It was... how to put it... a bit chilly :D

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach French, I am quite good at it.
I can also teach different things about computer science as I am an IT guy myself.

I am eager to learn anything :)
