About Me

Super overachiever now committing to living. Just graduated from UW-Milwaukee this Summer 2019 with a dual degree in History and Religious Studies.

I'm an eclectic, energetic (yet surprisingly chill) weirdo. Best compared to a Jedi. Bike rides, hardcore hikes, trail running, plain-old running, practice yoga, meditating, cooking (especially for a party), anything with music (mess around w/ guitar, piano, midi machines), writing/listening to poetry, learning damn near anything, and chopping up philosophy are all my jams.

I best compare myself to a Jedi because I have a yearning for adventure towards greater truth (and having fun along the way), traveling about, being on top of my shit, and ensuring that people are good to go. Spoiler: the rebels always defeat the empire!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'd love to run into a different variety of experiences within the places I go to. Considering my history and religious studies major, I love to hear, feel, taste, and see the experience of others as best as I can while also sharing my own. Couchsurfing seems like a good route for that hope versus going into a hostel, although that may also be fun.

Embrace real life and love.

Also, money–duh.

Music, Movies, and Books

Mostly Bossa Nova, Hip-Hop, and Jazz. By hip-hop, I mean The Roots, Gang Starr, Blackstar, Mick Jenkins, Saba, Smino, Noname. Jaoa Gilberto and Tom Getz are the greatest collab ever.

In films, Will Smith is the GOAT. Really enjoy the "philosophically-fuck-you-up" type films.

For books, I'm a nerd. I like reading self-help, religion/spirituality, and business books.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
