Overview
About Me
I’m 26 (he/they), from Melbourne, Australia - currently travelling Europe for six months. Back at home, I’m studying a Master of Environment and work in local government on climate change adaptation. I’m an environmentalist and love to spend time in nature.
I like drawing and making art, and do tattooing (mostly just for friends!). I also like learning languages - can speak English and French and am learning Spanish. I enjoy discussing spirituality, philosophy, politics, culture, etc. I’m also queer and value this community highly 🙃
If there’s anything else you want to know get in touch!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I’m looking to meet people who can give insights into different walks of life. While it’s great meeting other travelers, it’s often through locals that you get a real sense of a place.
Music, Movies, and Books
BOOKS - I love to read, mainly read non-fiction but would appreciate fiction recommendations as I’d like to read more. Sociology/politics/history/spirituality tend to be my focus, authors like Naomi Klein, Yanis Varoufakis, and Thich Nhat Hanh. I’ve recently been reading and loving Hermann Hesse.
MUSIC - My favourite artists are Björk, Sade, Arca and HTRK. I’m a huge fan of old and new pop, some favorites being Madonna, Sophie, Charli XCX. I love to go clubbing and usually seek queer electronic parties.
MOVIES - l used to be more of a film buff but still enjoy going to the cinema - open to all genres :)
What I Can Share with Hosts
I would love to cook a vegetarian dinner, have interesting conversations, go out for a drink - open to whatever!
