I grew up in South Africa and am currently study medicine in Cape Town. Besides medicine, I enjoy philosophy, sociology and making music. I play cello, piano, clarinet and xiao, and do some composing when I get time. I recently got into computational neuroscience. I love hiking, jogging and squash.

I'm a calm guy, spending most of my time thinking or reading. I learnt German at school and can understand and get by with speaking.
I enjoy an occasional beer. I don't smoke.
