ABOUT ME

Simple, genuine and cheerful . Very few things take me off, being injustice the first one. I love to travel. Be in different places surrounded by strange faces is wonderful, it is like to be in a complete new world full of great opportunities... I adore music , cinema and a good read. I just do not like that sadness when reaching the end of the book, as if a great friend was leaving for a long period. Talking with friends (or not so known people) while drinking a cold beer or a wine is another good practice. Dancing is my instinctive passion , is the most natural and involuntary way with which I express myself . Nothing professional, but according to what comes out from my chest, just like this brief words about who I've been being ;-)

I haven't hosted anyone yet here in Palmas (Tocantins, Brasil) because I was living with someone else. Now I'm alone it might be a great experience.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

About contemporary movies I'm more into European and Asian cinema, and some independent and classic movies from USA. Some of my favorite directors are Lars Von Trier, Thomas Vinterberg, Chan Wook Pak, Kim Ki Duk, Majid Majid, Martin Scorcese, Bahman Ghobadi, Hayao Miyazaki, Lukas Moodysson, Wong Kar-wai, Tarantino, Todd Solondz, Wes Anderson, Kubrick, Gaspar Noé, Gus Van Sant... I think it is enough, right? Talk to me and I can suggest some great titles or we can just have a talk about.

Now, music! this time, I'll just pick up the first 15 artists I've been listening for the last 3 months from my LastFM account, otherwise the list will become huuuge. Let us see... Depeche Mode, The Breeders, The Velvet Underground, Pixies, Radiohead, Deep Purple, David Bowie, Buzzcocks, Portishead, Black Sabbath, Sonic Youth, Primal Scream, Blur, The Who and Nirvana. I think you can have a pretty good idea about my musical taste.

About books, my favorite author is Franz Kafka, I just love him and read everything I could. Others I like: José Saramago, Nietzsche, Voltaire, Jean Paul Sartre, Goethe, Bukowski, William Burroughs, Virginia Woolf, Albert Camus, Baudelaire, Isaac Singer, Neil Gaiman, Clarisse Lispector, Mayakovsky, Neil Gaiman, etc!!

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

I think that having coming here, to live some months, selling all my stuff and dropping my job was pretty remarkable. It showed me that I'm capable of dealing well with changes and that I'm capable of following my heart, not caring about the others' expectations about myself. I believe the life is too short to keep putting your dreams at the last position in your list of things to do... I was doing it, until the day I realized that I'd lost myself and was unhappy.
