CURRENT MISSION
I'm organizing a road trip in California with my best friend from August 31 to September 14.
This is actually the end of a gap year project during which I lived in Norway and in New Haven, CT. After that I'll be back in Paris and I'll keep on visiting as many countries as I can.

ABOUT ME
I'm a French Master's student living in Paris. I grew up in the French countryside and after sort of a break up with my culture and dialect, I realized that it was an essential part of me by travelling abroad.

I also lead a humanitarian mission called CERes for which I travelled a lot to Burkina Faso to help out farmers in a small village.

PHILOSOPHY
I'm passionate about the deep contradictions that are the essence of our society. I give much more importance to the questions raised by any kind of issue than to the actual solution.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Some of my friends have been on this website for a long time, and I got to know and use it through them. I'm in love with the concept and the community and I helped out several times my neighbour in Paris to host couchsurfers.
Now I'm coming to California early September for a two-week-long road trip with my best friend, and I thought it was time to sign up here and be part of this community for real.

We have been hosting couchsurfers for two years with my friends in Paris, and we hope to host even more people as soon as we're back there late September!

Interests

I basically dedicate my life to Quantum Physics, but because it can sound really nerdy, here are the usual things everybody wants to read:
- Travels;
- Meeting new people and making connections;
- Parties;
- Art in general (And especially discussions about how Science and Art interact);
- And I'm veggie (is that an interest?).

Music, Movies, and Books

I love electronic music (deep house, minimal, dark techno) and I can't spend a day without my headphones. Any advice for upcoming music events welcome!

I have quite a limited knowledge about movies and I think everybody should experience once in their life the look of other people when you tell them you actually never watched Pulp Fiction. And then their look when you try to tell them about Koyaanisqatsi...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

So I've been in the US for seven months now and I sort of forced my roommate to eat according to the French schedule. She hated me at first and now she's screaming in the street that I changed her life.

Teach, Learn, Share

I used to be a Math/Physics private teacher! I like to always take a piece of paper and draw / write ideas about the fundamental properties of Nature and logics. I consider the act of exchanging written notes about a conversation as the best way to learn and remember.

I love to teach French, especially if you're a complete beginner!
