ABOUT ME

Hi, my name is Renan :)

Like most of the people here, I really enjoy to travel a lot and discover new places and cultures. Travelling is one of my biggest passions. I've always been an open-minded person, looking for new experiences. I want to learn as much as I can about different types of people and their personal beliefs. I like to question different aspects of life and discuss them, from the simplest, such as music taste, to the more complex, such as philosophy of life.

I'm from Brasília, a very beautiful and modern city, the capital of Brasil, a country with unending beauties, with a strong culture and a lot of different people.

Currently, I'm fulfilling my personal dream of studying my PhD abroad. I'm based in Portsmouth (United Kingdom) right now but I will have a mobility period in Maastricht (Netherlands) soon enough. I have a big passion for psychology and I'm looking forward to being a successful psychologist. I have specific interests in neuroscience, forensic, criminal and social psychology.

PHILOSOPHY

I live to learn everything and teach what I can, that's the most strong belief I have of life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I always enjoy CS in my travels, it always gives me the opportunity to have a lot of nice and unforgettable experiences. I had a great time with CS in many cities of Argentina, Peru, Bolivia, Uruguay, United Kingdom and Brazil so far.

Interests

I'm interested in people.
Getting in touch with people from other countries, cultures, different lifestyle, people with other or same opinions, travellers, dreamers, each of these meetings widens your horizon, makes you see things from new perspectives.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach: I can teach you Portuguese (Brazilian) language, something from Brazilian culture and history. I can teach something about playing the guitar and the piano. And psychology, my area of study and research.

Learn: I would like to learn as much as possible about everything.
